Lady Jackets sting Bulldogs

The Lady Jackets extended their winning streak Friday by defeating the Everman Lady Bulldogs 25-5, 25-14 and 25-8. Cleburne dominated the first game by jumping out to a 6-0 lead and never looking back.

The second game was much of the same. The Lady Jackets let their guard down a little during this game and allowed the Lady Bulldogs to score 14 points. The third and deciding game looked much like the first with the Lady Jackets taking a large lead that Everman could not overcome.

The Lady Jackets take on Aledo there Tuesday. Aledo defeated Stephenville Friday night in three games. Players to watch from Aledo are Allie Bettinger and Amanda Watlington. Bettinger scored five aces off the Honeybees and Watlington managed 12 kills, 16 digs and nine blocks.

The Junior Varsity defeated the Lady Bulldogs in two games Friday by scores of 25-12 and 25-11.
