Mineral Wells left with a dry bucket Tuesday night after the Lady Jacket volleyball team won decisively over the Lady Rams.

Jumping out to a 9-2 lead in the first game, the Lady Jackets rolled over the visitors 25-4.

The second game was more of the same, with the team defeating the Lady Rams 25-7.

The Lady Rams found their stride during the third game, matching the Lady Jackets point for point. However, Cleburne wasn't going down that easily and recaptured the lead and taking the win 25-22.

The Lady Jackets remain undefeated in district with a 5-0 record.

Earlier, the JV handed the visitors the same fate, taking a 25-16, 25-19 and 25-16 win. The team is now 3-2 in district play.

Both freshmen teams defeated the Lady Rams. The A team won in three and the B team in two.
