Senior volleball player Ashlie Christensen signed with Baylor University today. The talented outside hitter chose Baylor because it is close to her family.

"It's exciting. I worked hard to get here," she said. "It took a lot of dedication."

Christensen finished her volleyball career Tuesday night against Amarillo Canyon Randall.

"She is one of the best," teammate Katie Tull said. "I love playing with Ashlie."

Coach Floyd Rogers said Christenson was a team leader and deserves the offer to play at Baylor.
