The Lady Jackets (19-11, 7-0) volleyball team took sole possession of first place in district 8-AAAA last night by defeating Stephenville (15-12, 5-2) in three games.

Ashlie Christenson led the Lady Jackets with 10 kills and 10 digs in their 25-19, 25-21 and 25-18 win. Kyli Ginn contributed 30 assists with Katie Tull adding 13 kills and 10 digs.

The victory was not easy for the Lady Jackets as they had to rally late in the each game to win. The team plays Everman there on Friday at 5 p.m.
