The District 6-4A all district volleyball selections were announced today with the Lady Jackets taking two of the top awards. Coach Floyd Rogers was named Coach of the Year.

"The selections are nice and its great for the girls to be recognized," Rogers said.

Junior Katie Tull was named MVP and senior Ashlie Christensoen was chosen as outstanding hitter.

Rogers said Tull and Christensen were valuable assests and the recognition by the other coaches in the district is rewarding.

Named to the first team all-district roster is junior Shelbie Stinebaugh, sophomore Kyli Ginn and senior Samantha Oleksak.

Honorable mention selections went to junior Kristen White and senior Jessica Melve.

Rogers said the Coach of the Year honors was nice, but he would rather be still playing in the playoffs.
