March is officially National Music Month. In honor of this momentous occasion, here is a list of songs to down load from A-Z.

A-    Artic Monkey’s “I Bet You Look Good On The Dancefloor.” This song is a mixture of dance and indie that you just can’t resist.

B-    Blink-182’s punk cover of “Phantom of the Opera.” Blink-182’s cover combines punk rock with one of the most well known songs from the hit musical Phantom of the Opera.

C-    Carrie Underwood’s “Before He Cheats.” No girl can resist a country song about revenge that includes beating a guy’s headlights in with a baseball bat.

D-    Dashboard Confessional’s “Hands Down.” This alternative love song will leave you begging for more, especially if you are broken hearted.

E-     Eagle Eye Cherry’s “Save Tonight.” The great tear-jerking lyrics about just thinking about the night at hand and not about being separated the next day work their way into every ones’ hearts

F-     Five Iron Frenzy’s “Oh, Canada.”- With a great combination of quirky lyrics and ska sound, Five Iron Frenzy makes fans out of everyone.

G-    Gwen’s Stefani’s “The Sweet Escape.” Gwen Stefani does it again. Not only does she make a hit song to sing along with, but also surprises us with an unexpected collaboration with Akon.

H-    Hellogoodbye’s “Shimmy Shimmy Quarter Turn.”  Although this song is not on their new album, Zombies! Vampires! Aliens! Dinosaurs!, it is a great dance song with unique and random lyrics.

I-       Institute’s “Bullet Proof Skin.” Gwen Stefani’s hubby, Gavin Rossdale, shows us that singing runs in the family. The song is a great addition to any rock lover’s collection.

J-      Jason Mraz’s “Curbside Prophet ’04.” Mraz combines rap, pop, indie, and alternative into one big great song.

K-   Kansas’ “Carry On, Wayward Son.” This song is a great old classic that still gets its glory, and has been made popular by the video game Guitar Hero 2.

L-     Lostprophets’ “Last Train Home.” With punk rock lyrics and great drum and guitar solos, “Last Train Home” gets you pumped up.

M-  (The) Motion’s “Picture Taker in a Plain White Tee.” Even though The Motion has recently called it quits, their music still lives on.

N-   New Found Glory’s “All Downhill from Here.” New Found Glory does it again by giving us a great sing along song.

O-   OK go’s “Here It Goes Again.” The music video for this song involves the band dancing on treadmills. Enough said.

P-     Panic! At The Disco’s “There’s a Reason These Tables are Numbered Honey, You Just Haven’t figured it out Yet.” Even though the title is long, the song is worth the pain of saying it with upbeat music and catchy lyrics.

Q-   Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody.” A rock opera that no collection is empty without.

R-    Regina Spektor’s “Fidelity.” Regina Spektor has a Fiona Apple/Norah Jones sound that keeps you hooked.

S-     Spinal Tap’s “Tonight I’m Gonna Rock You Tonight.” This 80s hair band leaves you with a great feeling inside.

T-     Thirty Seconds To Mars’ “A Beautiful Lie.” Jared Leto proves that actors can record great albums.

U-    The Used’s “All That I’ve Got.” Bert McCracken gives us a great punk rock song that is just fabulous.

W-  We Are Scientists’ “Nobody Move, Nobody Get Hurt.” With a great indie feel and sound, plus a great music video in which the band is chased by a guy in a bear suit, we are easily hooked.

X-    X-Ray Spex’ “Obsessed With You.” The British 80s band has a great early punk sound with a great lead female vocalist.

Y-    Yellowcard’s “Empty Apartment.” Yellowcard combines punk rock with a violin to produce a great addicting sound.

Z-     (Led) Zeppelin’s “Immigrant Song.” One of the greatest rock bands ever and one of the greatest rock songs ever.
