Premonition leaves audiences with visions of a refund.

Premonition is a movie with great potential not used by its producers.

The movie starts with Linda Hanson (Sandra Bullock) receiving news that her husband, Jim (Julian McMahon), has been killed by jackknifed 18-wheeler truck on his way to a conference.

After struggling through a whirlwind of a day, Linda awakens the next morning with Jim beside her. Thinking it was all a dream, she continues through her regular day.

A day later, Linda realizes she is actually having visions of the future and works against the clock attempting to alter the future.

With flashbacks and flashforwards every other scene, audiences are easily confused. Although the movie portrays a great message, the message is soon lost in all the dramatization.

Freshman Lexy Hitchcock said the movie is a flop.

"Premonition was a wild thrill ride going nowhere. The idea for the movie was promising, but the ending left viewers disappointed," Hitchcock said.

Premonition was released to selected theaters on March 16.
