For the first time in 15 years, the freshmen football team defeated Stephenville not once but twice in the same night. The freshmen B team beat the visiting Yellow Jackets 34-0 and the A team won 51-0.
Freshmen B team's first touchdown came on a 4-yard run in the first quarter by Taylor Calahan. The second touchdown came early in the second quarter when Calahan lateraled a pass to Tyler Chappel who then scored on a 75-yard run.
"There's nothing more powerful than the power of a team," Coach Jamie Calahan said.

With five minutes left in the third quarter, the Jackets recovered a fumble on the 3-yard line and Marcus Hardeman scored. Going into the fourth quarter, Hardeman scored again on a 25-yard run. He added another touchdown on a 36-yard run and made the 2-point conversion. The Jackets exited the Rock standing tall with the 34-0 victory.
Mirroring the B team, the freshmen A team dominated the visiting Jackets 51-0. In the first quarter, Ty Taylor sprinted 47 yards for a touchdown and Robert White ran for the 2-point conversion. With 1:37 left in the quarter, White scored on a 61-yard run.
White scored two more times in the second quarter, the first coming on a 3-yard run and then again on a 52-yard run. Sharing the 2-point conversion points were White and Jose Martinez.
Starting the second half, Taylor scored on a 1-yard run. Stephenville held the Jackets for the remainder of the period. The fourth quarter found White again on a scoring frenzy when he scored on a 2-yard run and added the two extra points after manhandling three Stephenville defensive backs. Cody Hicks added the final touchdown on an 8-yard run that found him dodging Stephenville defenders like a ball in a pinball machine. Tanner Marchal kicked the PAT ending the game 51-0.
