Early Voting starts May 1st

Apr 28, 2006 - 6:11:00 PM - Early voting for this year's CISD Board of Trustees election runs from May 1-9 at the CISD administration building, 505 N. Ridgeway. Election day is May 13, 2006.  This year’s school board election finds 10 candidates vying for three available positions.

In Place 3, Kenny Haferkamp, Woody Mathews, Brad Parsons, Jennifer Dugger and Trey Kirkpatrick are challenging for the seat of Milton Walker, who is not running for re-election.

In Place 4, Brent Easdon and write-in candidate W.G. Dempsey are challenging for the seat of Dean Woodruff, who is not running for re-election.


In Place 5, Teddy Martyniuk, Mike Brand and Teresa Blackwell vying for the seat of Dr. Elaine Wilmore, who also decided not to run again.

A public forum hosted by the League of Women Voters and the Times-Review for the Cleburne ISD school board candidates will be held from 7-9 p.m. May 4 at the Cleburne Senior Center to give voters a chance to see the candidates and ask questions before the May 13 election.

Voters can submit questions in person the night of the forum or send questions in advance to the Times-Review, 108 S. Anglin St. Questions can also be mailed to the Times-Review, P.O. Early Voting: May 1 - May 9, 2006
Located at CISD Administration Building on 505 N. Ridgeway
Polls are open 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Election Day: May 13, 2006

    * Gerard Campus: 112 S. Hyde Park
    * Cooke Campus: 902 Phillips
    * Adams Campus: 1005 S. Anglin
    * Santa Fe Campus: 810 East Willingham

Polls are open from 7 am to 7 pm on Election Day
